Three men have been arrested in connection with a home invasion in the Rabbittown area of St. john’s.
RNC responded to a home in the neighbourhood around 10:30 Monday evening.
The residence had been vandalized and the victims reported that three men had forced their way in, and fled after assaulting and threatening the occupants.
A second call was then received by police about a disturbance on Hamilton Avenue. Responding officers soon realized that the two matters were related and three people were arrested.
RNC say 18-year-old Suhaid Aless, 21-year-old Kais Aless and 29-year-old Ibrahim Aless are all facing charges including break and enter with intent, assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of damage to property and two counts of uttering threats.
They were held in custody to appear in court.
