Stephenville has been named Newfoundland and Labrador’s most active community.
The town received the honour as part of the ParticipACTION Community Challenge.
As such, the community will receive $10,000 to put towards physical activity initiatives.
The town is in premier Tony Wakeham’s district, and he says the recognition is “especially meaningful” to him as the area MHA.
