The provincial government is providing the NL Outfitters Association with $100,000 in operational funding.
The non-profit organization represents hunting and fishing lodges and outfitters across the province.
It helps to promote and support the sector’s involvement in tourism and rural economic development.
Government says the outfitting industry contributes some $50 million to the economy each year, and brings in thousands of guests.
