The province is detailing the role of a new “Team Labrador” focused on ensuring that residents in the region benefit from the economic and development opportunities stemming from Churchill Falls and Gull Island.
As previously announced, the team will be lead by Minister Lela Evans who, along with Lab West MHA Joe Power and the member for Lake Melville Keith Russell will focus on ensuring Labrador is positioned to capitalize on the opportunities coming the region’s way.

The province says Team Labrador will meet with Indigenous governments and organizations, municipalities, community leaders, businesses and others throughout Labrador.
