One man is in custody following a stabbing near the Valley Mall in Corner Brook Monday evening.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
RNC say there is no threat to public safety.

The RNC is asking people to stay away from Valley Road, Wellington Street and Mount Bernard Avenue areas of Corner Brook as they conduct an investigation.
Police have cordoned-off an area near the Valley Mall.
The exact nature of the incident has not been confirmed by police.
