A police investigation is underway following a house fire in the Humber Valley Resort near Little Rapids yesterday.
An RNC officer noticed smoke from the Trans Canada just before 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and decided to investigate.
Fire services were called, and traffic control was put in place.
The owner of the property was able to confirm that the house was vacant at the time.
Local residents attempted to put the fire out, but it spread to nearby woods and a waterbomber was sent to the scene.
