The provincial government is replacing an important piece of infrastructure along Salmonier Line near Holyrood.
A contract worth over $5-million has been awarded to Trident Construction for replacement of the North Arm River Bridge.
Government says routine inspections found the bridge to be in a deteriorated condition.
The work will also include a bridge diversion to maintain traffic flow, demolition of the old structure, and other road improvements.
