The provincial government has laid Occupational Health and Safety Charges against a company following a fatal workplace accident in Dunville two years ago.
The incident happened on the Argentia Access Road on October 18th, 2024, and involved a moped and a backhoe.
Earlier this month, three charges were laid against M.J. Hickey Construction, and two charges were laid against Hickey’s Greenhouses and Nursery in relation to the incident.
Both companies are scheduled to appear in court on December 9th.
