The Town of CBS says it will keep pressuring the contractor involved to finish the Seal Cove bridge “as soon as possible.”
Work on the bridge had dragged out, leaving area businesses frustrated and affecting their bottom line.
The municipality says it’s now looking to the contractor for answers on when the bridge can open and “what measures it proposes to get there.”
The contractor, which resumed work at the site on Monday, is using a drill rig to complete the next phase of the project.
The bridge is not expected to open before year’s end.
