The Newfoundland Regiment is turning back the clock 15 years with plans to honour an iconic Newfoundland franchise.
The Regiment plans to host a “St. John’s IceCaps Night,” wearing jerseys from the franchise’s original iteration from 2011 to 2015.
The throwback night is part of the Mary Brown’s Centre’s 25-year celebrations, paying tribute to some of the teams that came before it.
The club also plans to wear St. John’s Maple Leafs jerseys during its November 5th contest against Moncton.
IceCaps night takes place on November 25th.
The Regiment plays at home this weekend. Charlottetown is in Newfoundland 7:00 tonight and 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
