The federal government is giving four Indigenous governments, including one in Labrador, millions of dollars for housing.
The $130-million top-up is through the Urban, Rural and Northern Indigenous Housing Strategy to support Inuit Treaty Organizations.
The Nunatsiavut Government gets $15.5-million.
Generally, the top-up can be spent on traditional housing, shelters, housing navigators, rent subsidies, short-term housing for students, and housing for vulnerable populations.
Nunatsiavut has not yet indicated how it will use the money.
