Today is budget day in Ottawa.
Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters on Parliament Hill that the document will focus on a number of areas of importance to Canadians.
He says the theme is ‘Masters of Our Destiny’ and is focused on affordability, opportunity, sovereignty, and “more independence, so we can live our lives as we choose.”
