A man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement after an incident at a home in Portugal Cove-St. Philips.
Somebody in the area called the RNC for help at about 10:00 yesterday morning.
After some investigative work, they arrested a 34-year-old man and charged him. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
