It has grown into the largest car show in Newfoundland and Labrador, and it is all for a cause.
The 7th annual Wheels for Wishes event is taking over Bristol Court on Kelsey Drive today from 10-4.
Organizer Leon House says there will be hundreds of vehicles, unique vendors, and a family-friendly party atmosphere.
The volunteer-run show raises tens of thousands of dollars for local children’s charities, including the Candlelighters.
House says there will be lots of food choices as well, including tacos, popcorn, hotdogs and hamburgers.
“We have vendors and dealers from all over the city who have bottles of water and gifts to give away; there will be two insurance companies there and just a lot of fun things,” said House.
