A 48-year-old man has been charged with flight from police after an incident in St. Jacques on the Connaigre Peninsula.
Harbour Breton RCMP noticed a man driving an ATV without a helmet on the main road in the town last Wednesday.
The officer tried to pull the machine over, but the driver refused and instead sped away.
The driver was arrested the following day. He was also charged with driving an off-road vehicle without a helmet and driving an off-road vehicle in a dangerous manner. He’s scheduled to appear in court in November.
