A 37-year-old woman has been charged in connection with at least twelve thefts from stores in central Newfoundland.
Samantha Marina Manuel, who was known to police, was arrested at a home in Botwood on Tuesday.
She was held in custody to appear in court on 17 counts of theft under $5,000, 11 counts of failure to comply with a probation order, and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
RCMP say the investigation continues and further charges are possible.
