Newfoundlander Rebecca Abbott has been eliminated from MasterChef Canada.
The 38-year-old Gander native was eliminated during last night’s episode after struggling with a rice-themed mystery box challenge.
Abbott was emotional after receiving the news.
“Today was not my best” Abbott said after her elimination, believing she should have been “more expressive” with who she is. That said, Abbott is proud of herself for applying and being the first Newfoundlander to make it to the top 12.
MasterChef Canada airs Tuesdays on CTV.
