A 52-year-old driver from New Brunswick will have to find a ride back home after having his vehicle seized and licence suspended for speeding through a construction zone on the Trans Canada earlier this week.
Deer Lake RCMP say a patrol officer noticed a vehicle driving through the zone at a high rate of speed around 8:45 Tuesday morning.
The driver was clocked at speeds of up to 103 km/h in a 50 km/h zone near the White’s Road turnoff.
The man was issued a speeding ticket and his licence was suspended.
