Memorial University is waiting on approval from the Lieutenant-Governor in Council on the sale of Harlow Campus.
All academic programming and events at the U.K. facility wrapped up at the end of August.
The university announced plans earlier this year to divest itself of a number of assets, including the Harlow and Signal Hill campuses and the Johnson GEO Centre.
MUN says the sale of Harlow is subject to approval under the Memorial Act.
In the meantime, operations at the GEO Centre on Signal Hill will be shut down for good if the facility is not sold or transferred by the end of the calendar year.
