RCMP have confirmed that human remains located in the St. John’s area are those of a Caplin Cove man reported missing last year.
Clarenville RCMP say the man was last seen in May of 2025.
RCMP, with the help of the RNC and the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office, this week confirmed that a body found in the St. John’s area is that of the missing man.
Police say the man’s death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
