The Montreal Canadiens continued their winning ways last night and Alex Newhook was a big part of it.
The Habs defeated the Dallas Stars 5-2 on two goals each by Newhook and Cole Caufield.
The St. John’s native took a pass on the left side just inside the blue line and put on the jets on his way to the net to shift to his backhand for his first goal of the night. He grabbed a rebound in front for his second of the night and third of the season.
